Join us in strengthening our communities by helping impressionable teens and young adults pursue the American dream, through the Opportunity Jobs Academy. Opportunity Jobs Academy (OJA) is a community-based education program in conjunction with Orlando After-School All-Stars, a leading non-profit that helps kids succeed in school and life. OJA connects youth with community leaders and role models from government, business and non-profit sectors—and prepares students for the contemporary workplace. In partnership with Orange County Public Schools, OJA offers students a ten week curriculum that focuses on job readiness, on-the-job training experiences, interview skills, and mentors from the local business community. OJA's ten-week program module offers students training on the following core competencies:
  • Goal Setting & Career Exploration
  • Financial Literacy
  • Resume Preparation
  • Interviewing Skills
  • Mentoring Workshops
  • Workplace Skills
  • Job Search
  • Presentation Skills

Opportunity Jobs Academy is dedicated to creating solutions for business, workforce and community challenges.
