Operation AmeriCorps

Operation AmeriCorps is part of the largest branch of AmeriCorps. Through grant funding, members are recruited, trained and placed in critical needs high schools to engage in direct service activities such as:
  • Academic Tutoring
  • Mentoring
  • Developing Academic Plans
  • Community Engagement
  • Service Projects
All members are eligible for an education award that can be utilized for college tuition or student loan repayment. During their term of service, members receive a living allowance, health benefits, childcare and food assistance.

Operation AmeriCorps is continually seeking community partnerships with non-profit organizations to allow our members to express their passion of helping the larger Orlando community. If your organization is interested in partnering to allow AmeriCorps members to volunteer on-site, please send us an email.
