Commissioner Betty T. Wyman, Executive Director, President, CEO
Commissioner Wyman was born in North Carolina and has resided in the City of Orlando since 1975. She had a long career with Bell South before being elected City Commissioner of District Two in 1992. She has been Mayor Pro Tem 1995, 96, 97, and 1999. Commissioner Wyman is the first woman to be elected to four terms as a City Commissioner in the City of Orlando (in its 130-year history) and currently, she is the longest serving member on council. As of 2008, she will step down from the city council and take on the position of Executive Director of Orlando After-School All-Stars. e-mail
Ray Crump, Program Coordinator
Ray Crump is a retired USAF Major from Tallahassee, Florida. As an Auburn Alumni, he enjoys fishing, sports, and friendship. Ray's everyday motto is, "Everything that you do for a child is not wasted." Ray coordinates The Doctor Tom Winters Tennis Academy and Hook-A-Kid on Golf programs, along with the activities at Stonewall Jackson, Memorial, and Carver Middle Schools, and Callahan Center. e-mail
Greg Hawn, Program Coordinator
Greg Hawn was born in Owosso, Michigan and is a graduate of Grand Valley State University. He has resided with his family here in Florida since 2000. Greg coordinates the Ledesma Equestrian Program, CPR training, and teaches sailing. He also coordinates activities at Howard, Odyssey, and Lee Middle Schools. Greg enjoys sports, his family, and sailing. e-mail
Linda D'Amato, Accounting Specialist
Originally from Long Island, New York, Linda oversees the ASAS budgets, audits, all accounting, and payroll. She is the best person to contact if you have any questions pertaining to donations or our 501(c)3 status. Linda enjoys horses. e-mail
Galina Dix, Assistant
Galina was recently hired on board of ASAS to assist with office responsibilities. She is a graduate of Rollins College with a background in finance and global economics. Galina is orignially from Russia and has made Orlando home with her husband and son. She speaks Russian, German, and English. When not at work, Galina enjoys spending time with her family. e-mail
Jocelynn M. White, Graphic Artist & Arts
Jocelynn grew up in Port Orange, Florida and eventually moved to DeLand, Florida to receive a Bachelor's Degree from Stetson University. She studied German, art, women & gender studies, music, and psychology. She also studied abroad at the Pädagogische Hochschule, Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, Freiburg Germany. Jocelynn is a fine artist who prefers working with charcoal, oil paints, and ceramics. Her hobbies include fashion, graphic design, fitness, art, classical and baroque music, and foreign films. She has played the saxophone and piano since she was nine and enjoys studying the music of Rachmaninoff, Beethoven, Chopin, Philip Glass, and Bach. Ms. MarQuitta Adams, Site Supervisor, Odyssey Middle School
Ms. Adams is from the West Palm Beach area and has lived here in Orlando for the last 14 years. MarQuitta has an Associate's Degree in General Education. She currently seeking a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice. Her hobbies include making candles, shopping and traveling. Her interests are always helping people and finding different places to travel. e-mail
Ms. Shondra Wilkerson, Site Supervisor, Stonewall Jackson Middle School
Ms. Wilkerson is originally from Jackson, Mississippi and has worked with the City of Orlando/ASAS for nine years. She has been a science teacher at Stonewall Jackson Middle School for the last ten years. Ms. Wilkerson was Stonewall Jackson's 2005 Teacher of the Year. She also works with the youth at her local church. Ms. Wilkerson strongly believes that it takes a village to raise a child. e-mail
Mr. Dan Brady, Site Supervisor, Lee Middle School
Mr. Dan Brady graduated from Madison High School in Madison, Florida and North Florida Junior College. He spent four years in the United States Air Force and then graduated from Rollin's College with a BS in Business. Mr. Brady became a certified teacher in 1992 and is currently a social science teacher and team leader at Lee Middle School. He has been at Lee and with the City of Orlando/ASAS since 1995. He oversees the afternoon segment of the program while Ms. Riley works the morning. Mr Brady enjoys sports of all kind, working in his yard, and spending time with his grand kids. e-mail
Ms. Darlene Riley, Site Supervisor, Lee Middle School
Ms. Darlene Riley is an attendance clerk at Lee Middle School. She graduated from Oviedo High School and has worked for Lee Middle for 6 years, and with ASAS for the last 5. She enjoys watching her nephews play ice hockey. Though Ms. Riley has experience in the health insurance field, she would like to pursue an Associate's Degree in the medical field for billing/coding or business administration. e-mail
Ms. Shaniqua Jacobs, Site Supervisor, Carver Middle School
Ms. Shaniqua Jacobs was born here in Orlando and is a graduate of Memorial Middle School and Jones High School. At both these schools she was involved in volleyball, basketball and track, eventually becoming the captain of the volleyball, basketball, and flag football teams at Jones. In 2000, she graduated from Jones High School with Tiger Pride. Her first job was telemarketing for Sears Home Improvement. In 2004, Mr. Crump hired her as a youth counselor with After-School All-Stars. During this time, Ms. Jacobs obtained a commercial drivers license so that she could provide transportation for ASAS. In addition to being the Site Supervisor at Carver Middle, Ms. Jacobs works as a substitute teacher at various schools in the Orange County School District. Ms. Jacobs stays active playing basketball, riding motorcycles and working out at the gym. Her hobbies including reading and surfing the internet. When not busy with work, Ms. Jacobs spends her time time teaching her two daughters, Shania, 9, and Shamiya, 10 months old, to reach for their dreams and prepare for their future. e-mail
LaShundra Johnson, Site Supervisor, Callahan Neighborhood Center
Ms. Johnson was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and graduated from the historical Jones High School. While at Jones, Ms. Johnson held numerous leadership roles (Miss Senior 1998, Majorette Captain, Concert Choir Master Singer, Student Government). She received her Associate Arts Degree from Valencia Community College and is currently attending the University of Central Florida where she will receive her Bachelor's Degree in Health Services Administration with a minor in Chemistry. Ms Johnson has been with the City of Orlando for nine years and was originally the site supervisor at Carver Middle School. She has recently been moved to the Callahan Neighborhood Center. When not busy with After-School All-Stars, Ms. Johnson works as a substitute teacher for all inner-city schools. Ms. Brenda Brown, Site Supervisor, Howard Middle School
Ms. Brenda Brown was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida and graduated from Bethune Cookman College with a Bachelor's of Science in Physical Education and Recreation. She was a First Team All-American for Bethune Cookman College Women's Basketball Team and was also drafted into the first inaugural year of WNBA in 1985. Ms. Brown has been working with the City of Orlando for nine years and started with ASAS as a youth counselor, working her way up to supervisor. She is a member of Howard's teaching and staff team. Ms. Brown is a people person who enjoys basketball and softball, working with computers, and most of all, working with kids. e-mail
Ms. Shwyett Randolph, Site Supervisor, Memorial Middle School
Ms. Randolph was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She received her AA from FMU in accounting and a Bachelor's Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Business Administration. She is currently working on her Master's in Education. Ms. Randolph is in her first year as a sixth grade teacher at Memorial Middle School where she was a school secretary for five years. She is a single mother of three daughters who attend Jones High School, Memorial Middle, and St. Mark's Preparatory School. Ms. Randolph is a local resident and loves to work with inner-city students. She originally started working with the City of Orlando in 1993 as a receptionist and just recently acquired the position of Site Supervisor for Memorial Middle.
