Our Featured Students

We are excited to share with you the success of our current coed Youth Baseball Development League (YBDL). Baseball is not always available to inner city youth because of the high cost of registration fees and equipment. Orlando After-School All-Stars has teamed with former New York Yankees player, Adrian “El Duquecito” Hernandez, and together, we offer a top quality Baseball Camp for our ASAS students!

Currently the Orlando ASAS - YBDL serves over 100 youth by providing a safe, quality program that uses baseball as a way to engage kids in a positive and supportive environment where they can develop the life-skills, maturity and confidence to become responsible and productive citizens at school, home and in the community.

All youth play for free and are sponsored by community partners. Every student's uniform and equipment are provided at no cost to the parent and all Orlando area youth are eligible for the league. Lessons focus on baseball fundamentals and the teaching of sportsmanship for fair play.

We are proud to have community partnerships to make this league possible. The Orlando ASAS oversee the league, and a variety of local businesses offer sponsorship.
